Templemore will surprise you. Known for its state-of-the-art Garda Training College you will quickly discover that there is so much more to Templemore. Nestled among the green fields of North Tipperary, our town boasts a fine park with a lovely lake that people are always surprised and delighted to find.
Home to an impressive athletics ground, a fine 9 hole golf course, Lakeside Pitch and Putt and proud sporting tradition we are of course home to the JK Brackens and many’s a vibrant football, soccer and boxing club.
Templemore’s new town brand and logo was launched in May of 2022. It represents Templemore’s Past, Present and Future. With the town park being the heart of Templemore the Black Castle arch which dates from the 14th century represents our rich historic past. The waters of the lake depict the town’s present, teeming with life all year-round. Finally, the tree is a symbol of the growing town and the hope we hold for it’s future.
